In 1981, Deakin Institute for Studies in Education was commissioned by the Victorian Transition Education Advisory Committee (TEAC) to prepare a series of case studies of selected transition education projects and interim and final reports of the Transition Education Program in Victoria. The aim of the project was to prepare a series of case studies that provide information and insight into the many diverse activities surrounding transition education in Victoria. The focus of this final report is on the substantive issues that permeate transition education in Victoria.
