This book gives a historical account of Senator Page's untiring efforts to gain federal aid for vocational education. It is based on information from letters, telegrams, reports, copies of the 'Congressional record' and other historical documents and brings to light the important role played by the national Society for the Promotion of Industrial Education (now the American Vocational Association) in the battle for vocational education legislation.
