This study seeks to identify the most effective methods for teachers to develop the skills of special needs students who are learning in regular classrooms. Focusing on thirty-nine industrial technology education (ITE) teachers from the Lincoln, Nebraska Public School District, the study aimed to answer three questions: (1) what training are ITE teachers currently given to support them while working with special needs students? (2) what are the feelings of ITE teachers towards including special needs students into their regular classrooms? and (3) what preparation do ITE teachers feel would aid them in the future when working with special needs students?
