Final report Training Networks Programme: 1999-2002

Skillnets, an enterprise-led support body, was established in 1999 as an independent private company under the National Training Fund through the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment in Ireland. Skillnets aims to address the lack of investment in human resource development (HRD) and training by Irish businesses by promoting and facilitating learning as a key element in sustaining Ireland’s national competitiveness. Skillnets provides help to companies through the Training Networks Programme which allows a group of companies to come together in a Training Network to achieve a common purpose or address a shared issue of importance to the development of skills and their long-term competitiveness. This report provides a comprehensive overview of the Training Networks Programme for 1999-2002.
