Meeting basic learning needs in the informal sector: integrating education and training for decent work, empowerment and citizenship

This book provides accounts of learning and training programs in the informal sector that equip young people and adults with the opportunity to gain skills and knowledge and improve their capacities to work, participate fully in their societies, take control of their own lives, and to continue learning.
