In the implementation of total quality management strategies, Latin American and Caribbean vocational training institutions are increasingly using international standards to certify the quality of their training processes. This document shows what is happening in this area and highlights the characteristics that quality management trends are showing in terms of training. It aims to contribute to the initial steps towards conceptual advances relating to this trend towards total quality management.
