Open forms of work, such as group project work, present employees with new challenges. The authors suggest a new name for this type of employee - the employee entrepreneur - and consider the following areas: performance orientations, career related orientations and flexibility patterns in work and private life. The authors conclude that there is a spectrum of different employee types and because of this in the future collective representation will be very difficult.
