This publication is the newsletter of the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) and contains short items of relevance to the occupational qualifications structure and process in New Zealand. This issue reports on: the new NZQA policy on reporting secondary school results designed to ensure that all data about student achievement is consistent; the one million learners now registered on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) and able to study towards over 9,000 qualifications on the NQF; an update on the recent consultation on the proposed quality assurance arrangements for providers of adult and community education (ACE); and the revised student fee protection policy developed by the NZQA in consultation with the private training establishment (PTE) sector.
