The need for greater efficiency in certain systems or aspects of training for socially disadvantaged groups in Portugal has led some training bodies to reorganise training and introduce new training methods. We look here at some examples of good practice that have proved particularly effective in adapting training to meet these groups' specific needs. The study on 'Emerging training profiles for disadvantaged social groups' carried out by [Institute for Innovation in Training] INOFOR sought to identify innovations in forms of training and trainer profiles adapted to the needs of socially disadvantaged groups.
