Making the jump: transition to work: a guide to supporting adults with learning difficulties make the jump from education to employment

Employment is a realistic goal for the whole range of people with learning difficulties. This guide draws out key messages for developing effective strategies for the transition from education to employment of adults with learning difficulties and looks at how adults with learning difficulties can be supported during the transition and while employed. Examples of transition provisions, which illustrate how people can be supported, are given. Issues for managers and policy makers are highlighted.
