Intersectoral education: opportunity or threat?

In this paper it is suggested that intersectoral education assists in the process of making education seamless and also assists in the provision of lifelong learning. It looks at recent theory that poor integration of technical and further education and higher education damages efforts to build on their similarities. In order to gain more information about 'boundary spanning', which needs to increase to cause successful intersectoral strategy implementation, the development and implementation of a dual sector graduate certificate course at an Australian university is examined.
