Educational pressures from industry and other markets have resulted in a rethinking of how education and training can be delivered to meet the needs of all stakeholders while recognising the skills and knowledge gained in the workplace. This paper looks at how educational providers and industry, in partnership, can develop a methodology committed to providing outcomes that address quality, participation and future sustainability. It describes the implementation of project based learning (PBL), which requires flexibility and relationships with PBL industry partners.
