Einfache Tatigkeiten im Wandel - Chancen fur Benachteiligte: Fruherkennung von Qualifikationserfordernissen fur benachteiligte Personengruppen = Simple jobs in transition - opportunities for the disadvantaged: early recognition of skills demands for disadvantaged groups

In the context of a BMBF (Bundesministerium fur Bildung und Forschung = Federal Ministry of Education and Research) research initiative dedicated to early recognition of skill demands, a study has been conducted on the early recognition of skills demands for disadvantaged groups. The project is studying how problem groups on the labour market, particularly unskilled and semi-skilled workers, can be trained for the current and future labour markets. The author describes current skills trends in the area of 'simple jobs' and develops possible training strategies.
