Perspectives on financing lifelong learning (LLL): some key points for the panel discussion

This paper introduces the position of the European Union (EU) on a definition of lifelong learning. The author looks at European Commission policy designed to create a European area of lifelong learning, and the key issues related to investing in lifelong learning in Europe and what the European Commission is doing to address these.
