Broadcast is a quarterly publication produced by the Scottish Further Education Unit (SFEU). It aims to provide a forum for viewpoints across the further education (FE) sector in Scotland and to highlight current news on national initiatives. One of the main themes of this issue is collaboration between secondary schools and further education colleges. A number of articles on this collaboration and its impact on teaching and learning are included. Other reports cover access provision, the latest news on the Scottish Qualifications Authority's review of Higher National (HN) qualifications, a new student on-course evaluation initiative, and the Special Needs and Disability Act 2001 (SENDA).
