Final report of the MLA Committee on Lifelong Learning: helping adults return to learning to improve their employment potential and realize their career goals.

The MLA Committee on Lifelong Learning was formed in June 1999 following the Alberta government's commitment to leading and working with partners to build a globally recognised lifelong learning culture and community in Alberta. The Committee was asked by the Minister of Learning, the Honourable Dr. Lyle Oberg, to consult with key stakeholders to review the existing situation, identify gaps and make recommendations on ways to help adults return to learning to improve their employment potential and realise their career goals. This report is the result of the consultations.
