Training for career development professionals: responding to supply and demand in the next decade

In the changing context of career and career work, the need for appropriately prepared career development professionals to support the complexity of career decision-making across the life span is greater than before. This article will describe the changing nature of career work and the changing role of career personnel. It argues for an increase in training opportunities for individuals involved in this field, and suggests the need for changes in the nature of the training programs offered.
