This publication provides a guide to the training technique of blended learning. This technique enables trainers and staff developers to integrate online learning with a broad range of more traditional learning methods. The technique suggests a solution to the challenges of designing learning and development to meet individual needs. The author explains the concept and demonstrates how it can be most effectively applied to developing a blended training program. Case studies from a diverse range of organisations are provided to illustrate this new training paradigm. The guide concludes with a discussion of the benefits of this concept and its possible application in the future.
