Home Science is a subject dedicated to women's development from its inception. As times change, the people also need to acquire new knowledge and skills to keep with the changing environment for which training is essential. Hence, the present study was conducted to know the awareness and training needs of rural women towards various Home Science technologies in the village of Dharwad district. The results indicated that most women were unaware of Home Science technologies, more so with regard to Family Resource Management followed by Textiles and Clothing, Food and Nutrition and Human Development in that order. Mass media participation was positively related to awareness and interest in Home Science technologies. With regard to age, it was positively related to awareness and negatively related to interest.
