The Training of Trainers Network (TTnet) was established by CEDEFOP in 1998 as a community forum for communication, cooperation and expertise in the field of training for teachers and trainers of vocational training. This dossier reports on the forum about tutors in enterprises. Tutors are defined as salaried employees who are designated by the employer to be responsible for a trainee in initial training, continuing training or retraining within the enterprise. The dossier compares the characteristics of the training tutor's role in different cultural contexts to identify common elements.
