This publication presents a variety of perspectives on the concept of career. Contributors from the fields of psychology, sociology, counselling, education, and human resource management examine career theories and practice in order to identify the major changes taking place in the world of work that are challenging and shaping the concept of career. Topics explored include the changing contexts of career, individual career experiences, multicultural issues, women's careers, and the implications for practice and policy formation.
