In 2000, the Learning and Skills Development Agency (LSDA), together with the College Finance Directors Group (CFDG), conducted a survey to benchmark current costing budgeting and financial reporting practices in colleges in an attempt to help colleges improve their financial management. This report summarises the responses to the questionnaires that were sent out to college finance directors and offers a commentary on current practice.
