Learning in the knowledge workplace: large firms versus small enterprises

This brief paper is based on preliminary research into organisation and workplace expectations of learning in a knowledge economy in both large multinational firms and small and medium enterprises in Hong Kong. It offers some initial observations about human resource requirements in a knowledge economy and their implications for learning.
