Meralco Foundation Institute: a wholistic approach to technician education

Since its inception, the Meralco Foundation Institute (MFI) in the Philippines has been involved in manpower development through holistic technician education. Its mission has been to provide quality technical education and training with emphasis on values education for all its participants, that is, the educators, the industrial workforce and the less-privileged youth, in the sector that it serves. This paper describes the programs and activities of the institute.
