Most technical education institutions in the Philippines are privately owned. The International Electronic and Technical Institute (IETI) is a school system with several campuses in the Metro Manila area which was incorporated in 1974. This paper traces the steps that IETI took to establish strategic alliances with industry in its effort to become more relevant and responsive to the changing environment it operates in.
