The Career Transcript System for lifelong learning

The Career Transcript System (CTS) provides a record of ongoing lifelong learning and accomplishments of individuals that have been verified by a certified third party. The CTS can help employers with making hiring decisions as it contains information about an individual's key workplace competencies that are not recorded on degrees and certificates. It can also provide managers with summary reports of the learning gains in their firms. This article discusses the CTS and its role in tomorrow's community learning system.
