This research examined vocational/technical areas that offered students with special needs opportunities to become involved with trade and industrial programs. In conjunction with quantitative data obtained from the Oklahoma Department of Vocational and Technical Education, administrators and counsellors were interviewed concerning their perceptions about placement and facilitation of students with special needs in school to work programs.
