The Cambodian government's National Policy for Women aims at dissolving the gender barriers and gaps to facilitate women's access and participation in all sectors of the economy. This study, carried out by the Asian Development Bank at the government's request, provides an analysis of the socioeconomic and employment position of women, identifies the most vulnerable groups, examines the results of a national survey of various non-formal skills training programs, and highlights the target groups and essential elements of a sustainable strategy.
