In response to the publication of the Further Education Funding Council (FEFC) report 'Inclusive learning' in 1996, the Further Education Development Agency's (FEDA) Inclusive Learning team conducted a research project to investigate some of the issues concerning the design, implementation and delivery of inclusive provision in further education (FE) colleges. This bulletin provides a summarised description of the project and its conclusions. The project aimed to identify experience and expertise developed in colleges recognised as having successfully implemented an inclusive approach. In this way, these practices could be disseminated to inform practice across the FE sector.
