Maori education: looking back to the future

This chapter examines Maori development in education from a Maori perspective. Background information on the Picot educational reform and restructuring process is included and an outline of the Ministry of Education’s Ten-Point Plan for Maori education, Nga Haeata Matauranga, is discussed.
