This paper summarises and critically appraises the development and delivery of an MBA program via the Internet. It provides an overview of the benefits and problems compared with the actual advantages and drawbacks experienced. A range of issues encountered in the early stages of the Internet program design are summarised, including opportunities for enhancing the curriculum, staff training on the relevant systems and staff development in multimedia course provision and delivery. The MBA program using the Internet has now been delivered at Southampton Business School, United Kingdom (UK) for three years and the problems and successes are discussed.
