Research informing practice: instructional design for workplace learning

The research described in this paper is still in progress. The paper takes a critical stance on the development of instructional materials and methodologies to support flexible delivery, and argues that quality client flexible delivery requires data to be generated on the learning preferences and context of learners in the workplace. Early research data indicates that there can be some confidence in the development of training materials and methodologies that are based on client learning preferences.
