Learning to learn - a voyage of discovery for all involved?

This article discusses learning in the context of the shift to the concept of lifelong learning. The author examines the nature of learning and comments on the different modes of training. Good learning practice is about basic communication and this article stresses that there are many different modes of learning. Learning is not measured by examinations, which usually only test the theory stage and learning it not automatic. Two case studies are presented, which study the learning process of different populations at the University of Bradford.
