Within the current context of major change to Australia's education and training sector, the Australian Student Traineeship Foundation (ASTF) plays a role in assisting the integration of education with Australia's economic goals. The ASTF supports school-industry partnerships to provide quality workplace learning opportunities for secondary students and reflect the needs of employers. This booklet provides an overview of the ASTF strategic plan for the next three years. The ASTF defines its vision as the achievement of sustainable work and life transitions for all young Australians.
