Does research influence educational policy? The research team from the Monash University-ACER Centre for the Economics of Education and Training (CEET) in collaboration with the Research Centre for Vocational Education and Training (RCVET) at the University of Technology, Sydney undertook an empirical investigation of the evidence for and the extent of the influence of research on decision-making in vocational education and training (VET). This working paper offers a brief review of the work done on the influence of research at the level of policy.
