VECO: an online community making a difference: cases in communicating

Vocational Education Coordinators Online (VECO) is an online communication system developed by the Australian Student Traineeship Foundation (ASTF) in partnership with Aussie SchoolHouse. The system, begun in 1997, consists of a set of Internet tools including an email discussion list, a website and associated training and projects. The system is designed to assist program coordinators, teachers, employers, workplace supervisors, careers advisors and other people involved in Structured Workplace Learning programs linked with secondary schools. This booklet presents a series of small case studies to illustrate how VECO is being used.
