Vocational Education, Employment and Training Board Annual Report 1998

It incorporates the Annual Reports of the Accreditation and Registration Council (ARC) and the Adult Community Education (ACE) Council. During 1998, one of VEET's major achievements involved launching a State Strategic Plan for Vocational Education and Training, 1998-2000. ACE finalised a major review of the policy framework for accreditation and recognition of registered training organisations. ACE responded to the educational, cultural and social needs of the community by approving funding grants for community-based programs. Comprising three sections, VEET, ARC and ACE, the report outlines the role and functions of each institution, major achievements in 1998, key statistics and outlines emerging issues and trends.
