This booklet provides a summary of adult education participation. The summary is supported by data collected by the Australian Bureau of Statistics' Population Survey Monitor in May 1995 and displayed in bar graph format. It provides a profile of adult education participants, information on the most common types of courses taken, which providers supply the education, and the reasons both for participation and non-participation. The role of adult community education (ACE) is briefly mentioned.
