Australian vocational education policy change: but will the revolution improve the quality of training?

Ongoing technological and economic revolutions necessitate the development of effective policies for Australian post-compulsory and vocational education and training (VET) in order to maintain international competitiveness. Policies with the potential to change fundamentally the nature of VET in Australia have been developed recently although there has been little effort to consult with practitioners in VET or to disseminate these policies widely.
