Rethinking years 9 and 10: findings from a national research study

A national research project was commissioned by the Australian Student Traineeship Foundation (ASTF) to identify the existing curriculum framework parameters for school reform initiatives in years 9 and 10. One of the key findings of the study was that a degree of ambiguity exists across systems and states/territories with regard to the role, function and status of these years.
