The South Australian Recreation and Arts Industry Training Advisory Board Incorporated funded the National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER) to undertake a training needs analysis of the recreation industry in South Australia. This report is largely based on consultation and feedback from key players in the industry and a limited appraisal of key courses. The review did not involve an in-depth analysis of curriculum content of particular training courses, and has been macro in nature and has concentrated on identifying skills which are deemed by the industry as being important, however skill and training gaps are identified.
