Evaluation of the pilot national client satisfaction surveys conducted in 1993: prepared for the Australian Committee on Vocational Education and Training Statistics (ACVETS)

The purpose of this evaluation of the 1993 pilot was to provide descriptive information about the worth of the survey's objectives and aims, the survey instrument and its ability to measure the performance indicators, survey design and methodology, data reliability and validity, survey output, survey reporting, and survey impact. Evaluation outcomes were to guide decision making, serve the needs of accountability, and improve future surveys. Major stakeholders were state and territory TAFE systems, other VET providers, national and state industry training advisory boards (ITABs), VET students, the Australian Committee on Vocational Education and Training Statistics (ACVETS), the Australian National Training Authority (ANTA), and the Department of Employment, Education and Training (DEET).
