Australian vocational certificate, traineeship: evaluation of wine industry pilot

The aims of this project were: (1) to test a set of proposals derived from the 'Carmichael report' (1992) which called for the re-organisation of work in terms of industry standards and competencies, and (2) to enhance training in the wine industry with regard to competency based traineeships. This report builds on the findings of four earlier, formative evaluation reports (see TD/TNC 48.54 for those collected reports). Thus it consists of the final, summative evaluation of the Wine Industry AVC Pilot traineeship. This report examines the objectives of the pilot and presents the overall outcomes of the evaluation of the pilot.
