The Australian Vocational Certificate Pilot Program in Transport Training is a pilot project established to test entry-level pathways of structured training for youth seeking to enter the workforce. This Transport Training A.C.T. (TTACT) project consisted of a broad-based training approach, involving an introduction to these streams of the transport and distribution industry: freight forwarding; furniture packing and removal; warehousing. On- and off-the-job training were offered, with formal training responsibility shared between the TTACT skills centre and the Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT).
