In 1992 the National Assessment Project was commissioned by the Competency-Based Working Party of the Vocational Education, Employment and Training Advisory Committee (VEETAC). This Project has been guided by the Assessment Steering Group of the VEETAC CBT Working Party and managed by the NSW TAFE Commission. The purpose of the Workshop was to provide the opportunity for stakeholders with different perspectives on competency-based assessment to build on the progress made since the National Assessment Research Forum.
