The TAFE Open Learning and Flexible Delivery National Staff Development Program is an awareness-raising program introducing the reader to the philosophy, principles and practices of open learning. It is aimed at all TAFE staff who are either unfamiliar with, or just starting to become aware of, open learning and flexible delivery. This module is aimed at staff who manage or wish to manage open learning materials development projects. It focuses on developing an awareness of the crucial issues involved in the planning, production, implementation and evaluation of open learning materials and on the generic skills related to the management and development of project teams. The reader’s understanding of the module will be enhanced if he/she has completed modules 1, 2, 3 and 4.
