The TAFE Open Learning and Flexible Delivery National Staff Development Program is an awareness-raising program introducing the reader to the philosophy, principles and practices of open learning. It is aimed at all TAFE staff who are either unfamiliar with, or just starting to become aware of, open learning and flexible delivery. This module raises awareness of, and develops skills in, a range of strategies for locating, evaluating and adapting existing resources as an effective practice for open learning materials development. This module assumes the reader has a good understanding of the philosophy of open learning, the basic principles of flexible delivery and the implications of the design of learning resources. Modules 1, 2 and 3 provide this background knowledge.
