This book contains a series of newsletters intended to update and inform the reader about developments in post-compulsory education and training. The newsletters, originally written for staff of the Faculty of Education at Griffith University, address reports that have been instrumental in fashioning state and federal government policy since 1992, including Finn, Carmichael, and Mayer. Training issues such as the introduction of competency-based training and the development of employment-related, key competencies are discussed.
