This article describes some of the ways that Victoria's Centre for Flexible Learning, based at Outer Eastern College of TAFE, goes about delivering TAFE education and training. The over-riding aim is to negotiate programme delivery to suit the needs of learners. Flexible learning means that entry and exit points to courses are based on recognition of prior learning, that the work can be self-paced and make use of the latest technology. Content, medium, time and location of learning can be negotiated and adapted to the learner.
