Assessment and competency-based training: a case study

This case study is one component of a national competency-based training pilot project focusing on assessment and competency-based training (CBT), with particular reference to teaching and learning approaches. The project was recently undertaken by the Office of Vocational Education, Training and Employment Commission, Queensland, and received funding assistance from the Department of Employment, Education and Training (DEET).
